Residential Parking Permits

Introduction

Certain residential areas within the County are subject to restricted parking. Residents wishing to utilize street parking within these areas will need a Parking Permit, available through Roads & Airports. Parking Permits may be obtained as follows:

  1. Bring proof of address, such as Driver's License or a utility bill, to the Permits Counter at   

    County of Santa Clara, Roads and Airports Department
    101 Skyport Drive
    San Jose, CA 95110
    Permit Counter hours are 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday
  2. The permit tech on duty will compare your address with the master list of addresses eligible for Parking Permits.
  3. Parking Permits are issued in December of odd numbered year and expire 2 years later on Dec 31st of odd numbered year. 
  4. Two Parking permits will be issued for each eligible address.
