Residential Parking Permits
Introduction
Certain residential areas within the County are subject to restricted parking. Residents wishing to utilize street parking within these areas will need a Parking Permit, available through Roads & Airports. Parking Permits may be obtained as follows:
- Bring proof of address, such as Driver's License or a utility bill, to the Permits Counter at
County of Santa Clara, Roads and Airports Department

Permit Counter hours are 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday. - The permit tech on duty will compare your address with the master list of addresses eligible for Parking Permits.
- Parking Permits are issued in December of odd numbered year and expire 2 years later on Dec 31st of odd numbered year.
- Two Parking permits will be issued for each eligible address.
