Mission Statement

The mission of the Roads and Airports Department is to preserve, operate, and enhance the County's expressways, unincorporated roads, and two general aviation airports in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner to meet the needs of the traveling public.

The Roads and Airports Administration office will re-open starting Monday, October 4th.  Lobby hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30 am. to 4:30 p.m.

    Plan counter office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
    By appointment only during 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
  • To report any road, traffic signal or other issues on County roadways, please use the  online reporting tool  
  • If you have an emergency, please call 911

Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) Push Button with Touch-Free Activation Feature Project​

Lawrence Expressway Pavement Rehabilitation Project between US 101 and SR-237 has overnight traffic signal shutdowns scheduled during September 9th through 24th that will result in significant delays. See project website for additional details.
