Capitol Expressway Pavement Rehabilitation Project

Project Description
Rehabilitation of the expressway by HMA overlay, subgrade improvements, pavement repair, crack sealing, roadway excavation, Cold In place Recycling (CIR), traffic loops replacement & installation, adjustment of drainage manholes and utilities to grade, curb and gutter, removal and replacement of traffic stripes, markings/markers, new signs, ADA improvements, drainage improvements, removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk. This section of Capitol Expressway was prioritized for rehabilitation due to pavement failures caused by poor soil conditions.
