OPTION 1
Summary: Same as existing condition. County will notify residents to park off the pavement.
Pros: No loss of parking
Cons: Current traffic issues remain.
OPTION 2
Summary: Shoulder stripe along both edges of Bertram Road. One lane narrow road, drivers need to yield to oncoming traffic.
Pros: Defines travel way and parking outside shoulder stripe is allowed.
Cons: Some Loss of parking.
OPTION 3A*
Summary: One way between Alamaden Way and Cinnabar & 2 way east of Cinnabar, add shoulder stripes along both sides of Bertram, parking outside shoulder stripe allowed. BOARD approval required fo one-way ordinance.
Pros: No oncoming traffic. Defines travel way and allow parking outside shoulder stripe.
Cons: Some loss of parking, residents can only access a section of Bertram Rd from Almaden Way.
OPTION 3B*
Summary: One way between Almaden Way and Cinnabar & 2 way east of Cinnabar, add shoulder stripes along both sides of Bertram, parking outside shoulder stripe allowed. BOARD approval required for one-way ordinance.

Cons: Some loss of parking, residents can only access section of Bertram Rd from Almaden Road.
* During future bridge shutdown, Bertram will be temporarily converted to 2-way traffic for both options 3A and 3B.
